From Studio to Stage takes it to the West Coast with this Masterclass designed for musical theater singers looking to audition for college BFA and professional Conservatory programs!

Get insider tips on how to show your best self at your college musical theater auditions from two people in the know: Natalie Wilson, musical theater/voice faculty at Circle in the Square Theatre School in NYC, and Daniel Lincoln, musical theater/voice faculty at USC School of Dramatic Arts in LA.
Singers will workshop two contrasting audition cuts with piano and get feedback on: vocal technique, repertoire selection, and acting the songs.
Limited to only 9 singers, each participant gets at least 15 minutes of individual coaching on their material. Auditors will have the opportunity to observe and ask questions.
Cost: $115 to sing; $25 to audit
Bonus: Singers may elect to have the masterclass serve as a pre-screen audition for any of Circle in the Square's 3 programs: 2 year professional conservatory, BFA, or 2-week summer intensive!

At USC, Daniel Lincoln is the Coordinator of the Musical Theatre minor (Thornton School of Music) and a BFA Musical Theatre faculty member (School of Dramatic Arts). He currently also teaches at AMDA, Santa Monica College, and Pepperdine University. Previous faculty positions at NYU Tisch and New York Film Academy. Natalie has been teaching voice and music for over 30 years, both privately and at colleges and universities. She is currently on faculty at Circle in the Square Theatre School, where she teaches voice and music theory. She also created and is the Program Director for Circle's Emerging Writers Residency, which develops one new play and one new musical each year through a collaborative workshop between theater writers and Circle students and faculty. In her private voice studio in NYC, Natalie works with both aspiring singers and professionals who perform on Broadway, Off-Broadway, on national tours, and with regional theaters across the country.
Natalie holds a Masters Degree in Voice Performance and Pedagogy, and her performing career included such varied roles as the title role in Carmen, Sesto in La Clemenza di Tito, and Desiree in A Little Night Music. Also now a writer for both stage and screen, Natalie knows the performing arts business from many sides.
